CSRL participated in a fund-raising event on 21/12/2021, organised by the Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU), in aid of the earthquake – stricken villages of the Arkalohori area in southern Crete. In collaboration with the HMU Robotics Club, an interactive robotic exhibit was developed, involving a pair of UR3 robots decorating Christmas trees. Each donating visitor was given a Christmas ornament to sign with his name, and a robot would then proceed to automatically place the signed ornament on the tree.
The exhibit attracted a lot of interest from the public, and was demonstrated to over 10 classes of enthusiastic primary school pupils !
