During March 2023, the Control Systems and Robotics Laboratory (CSRL) was host to approximately 80 students and their accompanying teachers, from 5 high schools of Herklion, participating in HMU’s Open Days 2023 Event. The students had the opportunity to learn about the educational and research activities of CSRL, and got to interact with a variety of equipment, including PLCs, NI’s Elvis III boards, robotic arms and mobile robots. For CSRL, such outreach activities are very important for motivating young minds to choose a career path in engineering and technology.
